How information adds value to an organisation.
Information adds value to an organisation by helping in decision making. Decision making is crucial within a business, therefore it is important that the information is accurate, up-to-date, error free, clearly communicated and true. Information can also show a business how it is performing with the use of charts e.g. sales charts. Information can also allow a business to gain a competitive advantage, this is because if a business realises/notices a gap in the market earlier than the competitor, then it can target the new market before its competitors. It is is also because they will be able to compare sales, turnover, profit and losses with their competition.

Class Teaching Plan - Software and data misuse

My topic that I am to teach to the class sometime in the next couple of weeks is about "Software and data misuse". This is to be done as a powerpoint presentation and is to give us a bit of an insight into a teaching life. I am to make a lesson plan to aid me in teaching about my topic. At the end of my presentation, i will give the class a homework on the presentation.

Attention / Conduct in classes
In most of my classes, I did not carry on or mess about but in some cases I did. I always was on time for class and majority of the time was prepared for class. I never distracted anyone from doing their work unless I needed help.

Academic Performance
During the last year, my academic performance differed. It differed per subject and per test. I believe that the Christmas exams that just past definitely do not reflect my full capability. All I can say is that I just wasn’t prepared for the exam and I now know what the exams like and will hopefully get the grades I deserve in the summer.

Time Spent Out Of Class
My time spent out of class during studies was used, in the majority of cases, as a time for revising and looking back at the work I did the previous classes for various subjects. I used the I.C.T. resources mostly for coursework but there was a few times when I used it during lunch for personal use. My time in the house however was not always used properly for academic reasons.

Responsibility For Own Learning
I was always at class on time or even first to class this year for all my subjects, I may have missed 1 or 2 homeworks but always caught up the night after. I always knew m passwords for everything and I may have forgotten a textbook or exercise book. During my study periods I either revised or did some more work for my subjects. On rare occasions, I did use the schools computers for recreational use.

Blog Update Status

Today in class, Mr Barr talked to us about the class's blogs and saying how everyone isn't using the blogs effectively and properly... he also said that the class isn't doing the work that he asked to be done to the blog...

This weekend, i am going to update my blog to the have everything that it should contain. I should then have the blog up-to-date by tuesday at the latest.
